Black Salt or kaala namak comes from salt mines of volcanic origins. Our Black Salt has a unique smell and taste due to the presence of sulphur compounds. It is considered healthier than the white salt as it has a lower level of sodium, and is minimally processed. No chemicals are used to bleach it white.
