Why eat it?
The Lokwan atta has a high protein content, making it best for rolling thin Indian chapatis, parathas etc. It is high on gluten too, so people with gluten sensitivity should have it in moderation. But, it has enough goodness to control Type 2 diabetes, maintain cardiovascular health and aid digestion. Savour this atta to relish its virtues!
Cooking tips:
While making the dough for chapatis please ensure that you add more water as compared to other atta. Set it aside for 15-20 mins before rolling it out, or refrigerate for later. The high gluten content gives this atta unique stretching qualities, making it easy to roll the dough to make the thinnest rotis, and stuffed parathas without breaking.
