Ethnic Range

Rare Range

Products that are not just unique to a region, but also scarce, fall under the RARE RANGE. What makes it interesting is that if grown outside their region of origin, they tend to lose the properties that make them unique. So Dagad Phool, or Lakadong turmeric if grown outside Maharashtra and Meghalaya will still remain Dagad Phool and Lakadong turmeric but without the distinct properties, aroma, texture and taste. These are ancient, heirloom and heritage varieties, which have been preserved due to the sheer dedication of the farmers. This range is unique and exquisite, which is why we stock these up until we get hold of them in the next season. This category of products is what you understand as limited edition. But don’t worry.
