Mother's Day

Mother's Day

“Did you eat?”
Haan Maa.
“Kya khaya?”

Have you noticed how the second question in almost every call with your mother is about food?

Don’t be annoyed—it’s her love language.

This Mother’s Day, let’s give her a taste of her own medicine. Skip the makeup, flowers, and handbags. Give her food—trust me, she’ll truly cherish it.

Over the years, she has quietly adapted her cooking to your preferences, while also making sure you eat things that are good for you. Lauki, haldi doodh… remember?

Now it’s your turn to give back.

When is Mother’s Day 2026?

Mother’s Day 2026 falls on Sunday, May 10, 2026, the second Sunday of May, as celebrated in India and many countries around the world.

Of course, she’ll remind you that every day is Mother’s Day.
And honestly, she’s right. So how about giving her something that lasts?

You suggest doing a meaningful project together. She rejects it every time.
“Too many things to take care of.”
“I don’t have time.” And so on…

This year, be patient. Don’t give up. Here’s a great comeback:
“Stop, Maa, don’t rush. This Mother’s Day, let’s show some love to Mother Nature too.”

Apni maa ko phone karne mein aag lagti hai? Mother Nature ke liye kya karoge?

Give her a hug, and watch her melt. (or if you are on the phone, use a soft persuasive tone)

“Let’s try, na Ma. The easiest way is to go organic. Let’s support the people who are nurturing Mother Earth.”

She’ll be speechless and proud, we promise.

The Oneness

We are all interconnected and interdependent on the many elements of this universe. That is the core philosophy of Ikai. We come from the earth, and will go back to it. It is our responsibility to care for her rather than destroying her.

Just as a mother nurtures her children with love, purity, and protection, Ikai Organic nurtures families by providing healthy, chemical-free food.

“Sab bolte hain organic… what’s the guarantee?” she’ll ask.
“They’re an honest brand, Maa. If a product isn’t organic, they clearly label it as natural. They produce in small batches, and they market what tribals grow”

“Mehnga hai…” she’ll retort.
“Nothing is expensive when it protects your health. And they have a sale going on—try karein?”

“Just checking ikaiorganic.com…. hmmm, looks good. Jammu Rajma zaroor order karna – I really loved the rajma we had in the dhabba near Patnitop… will try making it.  By the way, did you eat lunch?

This Mother’s Day, let’s pledge to care for all our mothers, our birth mothers, mother figures, and Mother Earth.
