Weakened reproductive health
Exposure to pesticide residues can lead to hormonal imbalances, reduced fertility, irregular cycles and lower overall vitality.
This Sprouted Khapli Atta, made from the ancient heirloom grain Emmer, multiplies its benefits manifold. To make this atta, the grains are first thoroughly washed and kept damp for about 24โ48 hours. As soon as sprouting begins, they are sun-dried and then stone-ground to create this delectable flour. The result is an atta with a naturally sweeter aroma and taste compared to regular khapli atta. It is low in glutenโcontaining nearly five times less gluten than regular store-bought attaโwhile being rich in flavour and bursting with essential micronutrients.
This Atta helps regulate blood sugar and is a boon for diabetics and those with gluten intolerance. It is high in protein and fibre but low in gluten and has a much lower glycemic index. Relish healthy, tasty Khapli rotiโs or make artisanal breads. This Atta will never let you down.
Sprouting makes foods easier to digest, increases enzyme activity, and helps reduce any antinutrients. This atta brings together all the goodness of Khapli wheat with the added benefits of sprouting, making it both nourishing and easy on the gut. With a gluten content of 3% as compared to 10-15% in the regular store bought atta, it is boon for people who want to eat rotis but get digestion and bloating ssues with regular rotis.
For kneading the dough, you will need slightly more waterโabout ยพ part water to 2 parts atta. Use it to make soft rotis or add it to bread doughs for a nutritious, healthy twist.
